Overview
Hope Leadership Academy seeks a dedicated Paraprofessional to provide instructional support in classrooms. This role offers a chance to positively influence student success within a tuition-free PreK–5 public charter school environment.
What You'll Do7
- 1Follow lesson plans and maintain a positive structured classroom environment
- 2Provide small-group and one-on-one academic support under teacher guidance
- 3Assist classroom teachers with instructional preparation and classroom management
- 4Support students with special needs by following IEPs and 504 plans
- 5Supervise students during transitions lunch recess and dismissal
- 6Uphold school policies and model professionalism at all times
- 7Contribute to the school’s mission of Every Student Every Day
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2Missouri Substitute or Paraprofessional Certification
- 3Previous experience in an educational setting preferred
- 4Strong communication and classroom management skills
- 5Ability to collaborate with staff and support diverse student needs
- 6Flexibility and reliability in covering various grade levels and classrooms
