Overview
Packaging Operator operates in a fast paced consumer packaged goods environment handling packaging, labeling, and inspection to ensure quality finished goods. This role supports production by preparing, inspecting, and packing items while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. You will be part of a team with defined work instructions and a temp to hire path for reliable performers.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build packaging processes to prepare, inspect, label, and pack finished goods
- 2Inspect products, labels, and packaging materials for accuracy and defects
- 3Label, sort, count, and prepare items for shipment or production processing
- 4Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with procedures
- 5Support production goals by following directions and communicating issues to leads or supervisors
- 6Assist with basic material handling and production line support
Requirements5
- 11 to 2 years of production, packaging, warehouse, or manufacturing experience
- 2Ability to work hands-on and maintain accuracy and teamwork
- 3Willingness to work 1st or 3rd shift in Kansas City KS
- 4Attention to detail and strong work ethic
- 5Compliance with safety standards and quality requirements
