As an Outside Sales Representative and Trainer at True North Group, you own a hybrid role combining field sales with hands-on coaching of new agents. What You'll Do8
- 1Meet with business owners to understand their needs and offer tailored insurance plans, aiming to close new accounts in your first 90 days.
- 2Deliver engaging benefit presentations to employee groups of 50+, driving enrollment and client satisfaction.
- 3Follow up with clients and support them through claims and coverage questions, building long-term relationships.
- 4Shadow new reps in the field and provide hands-on sales training, coaching them through real scenarios.
- 5Run call reviews, prep sessions, and debriefs with new team members to sharpen their skills.
- 6Help new reps track progress and set weekly activity goals, ensuring they hit their targets.
- 7Collaborate with your manager to build a strong, successful sales team, sharing best practices and feedback.
- 8Maintain and grow your own book of business while guiding others to do the same, balancing personal production with mentorship.
Requirements9
- 1Proven experience in outside sales or business-to-business sales
- 2Experience mentoring, coaching, or training others in a sales setting
- 3Ability to present clearly and confidently, whether 1-on-1 or to a room of 50+ people
- 4Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and CRM usage
- 5A Health & Life general lines license, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days
- 6Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales, leadership, or coaching
- 7Experience using CRM software, specifically Salesforce
- 8A coachable, positive attitude and a desire to help others win
- 9Strong time management and communication skills
