Cart.com seeks an entrepreneurial leader to lead outbound operations ensuring rapid accurate fulfillment for thousands of customers. This role drives efficiency across a multi-client 3PL network supporting ecommerce and wholesale while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead all outbound tasks including picking packing kitting and triage to guarantee timely order fulfillment
- 2Manage automated pick modules and drive performance metrics
- 3Develop and mentor outbound supervisors cultivating a high-performance team environment
- 4Ensure SLA compliance UPH targets and quality standards
- 5Plan labor schedules based on forecasts capacity needs and performance data
- 6Train staff on warehouse management systems and standard operating procedures
- 7Optimize picking locations for high SKU environments
- 8Identify process improvements to boost throughput and operational excellence
- 9Communicate effectively with clients internal teams and cross functions to resolve issues
- 10Support growth initiatives by analyzing capacity constraints and recommending enhancements
- 11Drive mentorship and career development for outbound leadership talent
Requirements11
- 15+ years in fulfillment operations
- 23+ years in outbound management or equivalent leadership
- 3Proven experience with 3PL or high volume fulfillment settings
- 4Advanced knowledge of WMS platforms
- 5Physical stamina for standing walking bending stooping over reaching
- 6Ability to lift and carry 30-50 lbs on occasion
- 7Attention span for extended periods
- 8Flexibility for 1st shift work with overtime potential
- 9Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
