What You'll Do11
- 1Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards
- 2Establish and adapt individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
- 3Document patient progress accurately and timely using objective terminology
- 4Educate patients and caregivers on treatment needs and discharge recommendations
- 5Discharge patients when optimal benefit is achieved following clinical standards
- 6Charge patients accurately and legibly while maintaining professional documentation practices
- 7Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and evidence-based practice
- 8Oversee OT assistant and aide care according to regulatory standards
- 9Ensure patient and staff safety through vigilant daily practices
- 10Manage time efficiently to meet patient needs and productivity targets
- 11Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives
Requirements10
- 1Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred
- 2Basic Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook Windows and EMR systems
- 3Conversational English fluency for patient communication
- 4Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- 5Demonstrated leadership potential for clinical instruction roles
- 6Experience with physical therapy documentation and billing procedures
- 7Commitment to patient-centered care within a spiritual healing context
- 8Background in healthcare settings with acute care experience
- 9Valid OT license meeting Florida certification requirements
- 10Willingness to complete mandatory background screening processes
