Overview

You will own patient care for active adults and athletes at a growing orthopedic and performance clinic in Lenexa, KS. You will manage a caseload starting at 10 hours per week with clear growth to 20+ hours, focusing on one-on-one treatment. You will join a small team of therapists and trainers, collaborating directly with the clinic owner. This role offers flexible scheduling, a free gym membership, and exposure to golf performance and biomechanical swing analysis. You will practice in a low-stress environment where quality care comes first.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Evaluate and treat orthopedic conditions in active adults, athletes, and golfers using evidence-based manual therapy and exercise prescription.
  • 2Develop individualized treatment plans that address movement impairments, strength deficits, and functional goals, emphasizing return to activity.
  • 3Collaborate with the clinic owner and personal trainers to integrate strength and conditioning principles into rehab programs.
  • 4Perform Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) swing analysis and golf injury assessments for patients seeking golf-specific rehab.
  • 5Document patient progress accurately and efficiently in the EMR system after each session.
  • 6Communicate with patients and caregivers about home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
  • 7Manage a schedule of 10-20 patient visits per week, ensuring timely and consistent care.
  • 8Contribute to a positive clinic culture by mentoring students or support staff as needed.

Requirements7

  • 1Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or Master of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • 2Current Kansas Physical Therapy License in good standing.
  • 31+ years of outpatient orthopedic experience treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
  • 4Ability to work weekday afternoons (after 12:00 PM) until 6:00 PM or occasionally 7:00 PM.
  • 5Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with the team.
  • 6Self-motivated and able to work independently as a 1099 contractor.
  • 7Experience with dry needling or TPI is welcomed but not required.
