Orbital and Manual TIG Welder - Applied Energy Systems
Overview
The Welder will support the Production Department by performing manual TIG and semi-automatic orbital welding on high and ultra-high purity gas delivery systems. This role involves working on engineering drawings and maintaining strict quality standards. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical skills and attention to detail.
What You'll Do11
- 1Prepare materials by cutting fitting cleaning and aligning components before welding
- 2Weld both large and small diameter stainless steel tubing
- 3Read project drawings specifications work orders and procedures
- 4Position align and set up components according to specifications
- 5Identify faulty components and test welded surfaces for quality
- 6Perform standard TIG and tack welding procedures
- 7Safely operate orbital welding equipment
- 8Complete production paperwork and maintain records
- 9Maintain a clean 5S work area
- 10Work overtime as required
- 11Interface with team members for component and equipment resources
Requirements9
- 1Must have good vision and dexterity
- 2Ability to stand bend twist and sit for extended periods
- 3Follow protocols and directions thoroughly and repetitively
- 4High School degree preferred
- 5Production assembly or manufacturing experience
- 6Lift 50 lbs
- 73+ years of GTAW TIG welding stainless steel
- 8Pass a TIG welding test
- 9Experience in a production assembly or manufacturing environment
