Oracle Transportation Management Lead / Architect
Overview
You will own the design and implementation of transportation solutions using Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) for a logistics-heavy enterprise. You will work with a team of architects and developers, reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Technology. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business requirements into scalable OTM architectures, with 10-15 years of experience.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and architect OTM solutions that improve shipment planning and execution.
- 2Lead the implementation of OTM modules, including order management, planning, and execution.
- 3Drive the integration of OTM with ERP and WMS systems using REST APIs and SOAP.
- 4Optimize transportation costs by configuring OTM rate management and carrier selection.
- 5Define and document OTM solution blueprints and technical specifications.
- 6Guide development teams on OTM customization and configuration best practices.
- 7Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into OTM functional designs.
- 8Evaluate and recommend OTM upgrades and patches to ensure system stability.
Requirements8
- 110-15 years of experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) implementation and architecture.
- 25+ years leading OTM solution design and delivery projects.
- 3Deep expertise in OTM modules such as order management, planning, and execution.
- 4Strong integration skills with REST APIs, SOAP, and Oracle SOA Suite.
- 5Experience configuring OTM rate management, carrier selection, and shipment tracking.
- 6Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for custom reports and data analysis.
- 7Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders.
- 8Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
