Oracle BRM Developer, Telecom Billing & ECE Charging
Overview
You will own the design and delivery of Oracle BRM implementations for telecom clients, focusing on usage rating and discounting modules. You'll work with real-time rating, diameter gateway, and session and balance management, integrating upstream systems via REST APIs. This role sits on a cross-functional team spanning billing, charging, and DevOps, driving end-to-end solutions. You'll also shape test automation and cloud-native deployment with Kubernetes and Kafka, making an immediate impact on our CI/CD pipelines.
What You'll Do6
- 1Architect and implement Oracle BRM rating and discounting logic to handle real-time charging events for telecom subscribers.
- 2Integrate BRM with external systems via REST APIs, ensuring seamless session and balance management across platforms.
- 3Configure and customize the PDC (Pricing Design Center) to manage product offerings, discounts, and charge plans.
- 4Design and deploy ECE (Elastic Charging Engine) charging scenarios, tailoring them to meet complex telecom use cases.
- 5Build automated test scripts and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline, using Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
- 6Drive technical collaboration with network teams to enforce policy control and charging rules functions, translating business rules into scalable solutions.
Requirements7
- 15+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle BRM implementation projects, specifically in usage rating and discounting.
- 2Strong understanding of real-time rating, diameter gateway, and session and balance management in telecom environments.
- 3Proven expertise in upstream system integrations with BRM via REST APIs.
- 4In-depth knowledge of pricing catalog configurations using PDC; preferred experience with ECE charging implementation and customizations.
- 5Ability to interpret business use cases for policy control and charging rules functions.
- 6Preferred experience building test scenarios and automated test scripts with CI/CD pipeline frameworks.
- 7Preferred familiarity with cloud-native technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Kafka.
