You will own comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, handling exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans at a doctor-owned practice in Atlanta, GA. You will work with advanced diagnostic tools including optical coherence tomography, visual fields, and retinal camera, supported by OD Technicians and Clinical Specialists. You will join a collaborative team focused on accessible, personalized eyecare, with no on-call or after-hours work. This role offers a 15K Retention Bonus for full-time and a competitive pay range.
What You'll Do8
- 1Perform comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages using optical coherence tomography and visual fields.
- 2Diagnose and treat visual and medical conditions, including eye emergencies, with access to retinal camera and auto-refractor.
- 3Recommend vision-enhancing solutions based on prescription findings, including contact lenses and glasses.
- 4Collaborate with OD Technicians and Clinical Specialists to ensure efficient patient flow and care.
- 5Document patient care in electronic health records to maintain seamless data management.
- 6Provide personalized patient education on eye health and preventive care.
- 7Partner with staff to improve access to healthcare and grow the practice long-term.
- 8Maintain high clinical standards and patient satisfaction in every interaction.
Requirements7
- 1Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
- 2Active state license to practice optometry in Georgia or ability to obtain one.
- 31+ years of clinical experience in a patient-facing role preferred.
- 4Experience with optical coherence tomography and visual fields preferred.
- 5Proficiency in electronic health records for patient management.
- 6Excellent clinical and people skills, with a commitment to patient care.
- 7Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to contribute to practice growth.
Salary Insight
$133 - $175k per year
