Overview

You will own the full patient eye exam cycle, from intake to treatment planning, at Physicians Eyecare Group in Miami, FL. You will work with Optos and OCT imaging on our patented hybrid platform, serving 26 state locations. You will join a clinical team supported by a centralized admin hub, removing non-clinical tasks. This role offers $200K+ earning potential and a path to licensure in multiple states.

What You'll Do7

  • 1Conduct comprehensive eye exams with Slit Lamp and OCT technology, both onsite and remote.
  • 2Diagnose conditions like glaucoma and macular degeneration, then write treatment plans.
  • 3Prescribe and fit contact lenses using WaveFront aberrometry.
  • 4Educate patients on UV protection and proper contact lens hygiene.
  • 5Maintain state licensure and malpractice coverage in every practice state.
  • 6Collaborate with store staff to reduce patient wait times and streamline checkout.
  • 7Mentor new grads during their first 90 days in our hybrid model.

Requirements7

  • 1Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school.
  • 2Active licensure in Florida, with willingness to obtain additional state licenses.
  • 31-3 years clinical experience in a retail or private practice setting.
  • 4Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and telemedicine platforms.
  • 5Certification in OSHA and HIPAA compliance.
  • 6Ability to work part-time or full-time schedules, including weekends.
  • 7Willingness to travel to other clinic locations within Miami-Dade County.
