Overview
Operator I leads packaging line operations at Bausch + Lomb in Tampa, FL. This role owns daily packaging processes ensures product quality and supports continuous improvement. You will drive efficiency and maintain high standards across shifts.
What You'll Do11
- 1Operate automated and manual packaging equipment including manual case labeling and visual inspections
- 2Maintain production area to prevent cross-contamination through regular line clearances
- 3Clean packaging lines after each run and perform thorough line clearances
- 4Track and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness by meeting system entry standards
- 5Document all activities accurately in batch records and complete required training annually
- 6Support operational excellence initiatives to reduce costs and enhance OEE
- 7Ensure compliance with GMP ISO and EHS regulations within your area
- 8Participate in OpEx projects focused on cost reduction and process optimization
- 9Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals
- 10Follow SOP procedures and maintain detailed documentation
- 11Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
Requirements7
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2High School diploma or equivalent
- 3Ability to work quickly under pressure with strong documentation and math skills
- 4Detail-oriented quality-focused professional
- 5Excellent team player with strong communication abilities
- 6Proficient reading writing and speaking English
- 7Valid driver's license for onsite work in Tampa Florida
