Operator 2, Golf Maintenance at BlueStar Resort & Golf
Overview
Operator 2 is a mid level golf course maintenance role responsible for grooming the course and operating riding equipment at BlueStar Resort & Golf in Phoenix area. You will report to the Assistant Superintendent and collaborate with the Superintendent and Foreman to maintain course conditions for optimal play. This role prioritizes safety, teamwork, and consistent quality while supporting a busy resort environment.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build bunker raking, green and tee mowing, and hand mowing schedules to maintain playability
- 2Operate riding machines including triplex units, rough machines, fairway machines, approach machines, and rollers to meet daily maintenance goals
- 3Follow directions from the Foreman and Superintendents and seek coaching to improve knowledge
- 4Maintain safety by using PPE and reporting unsafe conditions or accidents
- 5Communicate daily with supervisors to report challenges, concerns, and maintenance suggestions to improve efficiency
- 6Perform daily vehicle refueling and reloading of materials and keep equipment clean and ready for inspection
- 7Assist with other duties as assigned to support course conditioning and operations
Requirements5
- 1High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2One to two years golf maintenance experience preferred
- 3Basic understanding of golf and ability to minimize player distraction
- 4Bilingual in English Spanish is a plus
- 5Document knowledge of golf maintenance with references and work history

$40 - $44k per year
