Overview
Lead simulation control for Army warfighter exercises as an Operations Workstation Controller. You will design and scale constructive training solutions using WARSIM and JLCCTC platforms while supporting senior Red Control and the Exercise Control Group. This role drives mission-critical outcomes through expert technical execution and mentorship of new hires. You will serve as a technical leader shaping future training frameworks.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement scalable simulation control solutions using WARSIM and JLCCTC platforms to enhance Warfighter Exercises
- 2Own constructive training operations ensuring realistic scenarios through platform integration and rule application
- 3Supervise work cells and response teams maintaining high-fidelity training environments
- 4Collaborate with Senior Red Control and ECG to refine WARSIM conditions facilitating effective training
- 5Develop and train new workstation controllers establishing foundational expertise across Army simulation systems
- 6Oversee training solution delivery for national defense initiatives supporting joint land components
- 7Maintain detailed documentation of operational processes and troubleshoot technical issues during live exercises
- 8Implement security protocols for handling sensitive exercise data and classified materials
Requirements10
- 1Field grade officer experience including Warrant Officer W-4/W-5 or Sergeant Major E9
- 2Key developmental role at brigade or battalion level such as Executive Officer S-3 or Operations Sergeant Major
- 3Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- 4Secret clearance with eligibility for classified information access
- 5Bachelor's degree with MEL4 CGSC WOSSE or SMC certification
- 6Master's degree in Program Management Professional PMP
- 7Graduate of War College MEL1 or equivalent
- 8Nice if Colonel O-5 or above rank
- 9Experience with Division or Corps level staff positions
- 10Strong analytical problem-solving abilities demonstrated through past projects
