You will manage inventory, materials production, and team leadership to ensure seamless operations for all programs. What You'll Do8
- 1Oversee daily warehouse operations, including organization, inventory tracking, and material flow across NYC sites.
- 2Build and maintain robust inventory systems using Excel and Google Sheets to ensure materials are stocked and accurate.
- 3Lead preparation of enrichment materials for arts, woodworking, and engineering programs, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- 4Coordinate deliveries and transportation of materials using Google Maps and NYC transit routes for efficient logistics.
- 5Manage and mentor the maker and warehouse team, fostering a culture of accountability and follow-through.
- 6Design and implement scalable workflows and protocols to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- 7Monitor program timelines and adapt logistics to meet changing needs.
- 8Maintain a clean, safe, and functional workspace, adhering to safety standards.
Requirements7
- 12+ years experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- 2Ability to lift 20+ lbs and stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- 3Comfort navigating NYC for deliveries and logistics coordination.
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for inventory tracking.
- 5Experience leading a team or supervising staff in a warehouse or production setting.
- 6Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- 7Ability to work part-time (e.g., 20-25 hours per week) with flexibility for peak seasons.
