What You'll Do9
- 1Monitor daily operations, including missed runs, on-time statistics, and attendance, using Zonar and VDS data.
- 2Coach and evaluate Window and Yard Supervisors, focusing on service quality and performance metrics.
- 3Implement and support AVL and Zonar technologies, providing training and best-practice recommendations.
- 4Coordinate dispatching and in-service monitoring to meet client and corporate service standards.
- 5Develop manpower requirements and procedure manuals for supervisors and drivers.
- 6Hold routine meetings with staff to address service issues and communicate company changes.
- 7Track employee attendance, Zonar and VDS systems, and recommend corrective actions.
- 8Partner with the Branch Manager to mitigate operational risks and ensure compliance.
- 9Foster positive labor relations through engagement, coaching, and recognition.
Requirements8
- 13+ years of supervisory experience in transit or transportation.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Skilled in customer service delivery, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- 4Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to influence without authority.
- 5Proficient in time management, meeting deadlines, and multi-tasking.
- 6Flexible schedule to include early mornings or evenings.
- 7Ability to work in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- 8Must pass a drug screen and background check.
