Overview
Operations Manager leadingBrooklyn HQ operations for a multi-location cleaning franchise and supporting 40+ national locations. Own day-to-day operations across home and business accounts with a high level of ownership and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. Manage a distributed team including 12+ virtual assistants and collaborate with HR, sales, and field leadership to drive growth and service excellence.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and lead office, sales, and support teams and conduct daily standups to drive accountability.
- 2Resolve escalated client issues and maintain relationships with residential clients, property managers, and commercial accounts.
- 3Directly coach and manage 12+ remote assistants to ensure cross-time-zone productivity and scheduling accuracy.
- 4Coach intake and sales teams on lead handling, proposal conversion, call quality, and pipeline management to grow recurring revenue.
- 5Partner with HR on onboarding, hiring, structure, compliance, and discipline across all teams.
- 6Lead 30-60-90 day plan execution, deliver operational improvement recommendations, and own client escalations.
- 7Report daily KPIs, drive improvements in conversion, booking rates, and contract revenue.
- 8Maintain a self-sustaining office environment with measurable growth in key metrics.
- 9Foster a culture of high standards for team execution across residential and commercial accounts.
- 10Support off-hours operations during urgent issues to protect service levels.
Requirements10
- 15+ years of operations management experience in a service-based business such as cleaning, home services, or facilities management
- 2Direct people management with experience hiring coaching underperformers and implementing PIPs
- 3Remote leadership experience with virtual assistants or distributed teams preferred
- 4Sales coaching experience helping intake teams achieve conversion and revenue targets
- 5Comfortable with off-hours availability including evenings or weekends when needed
- 6Ability to commute to Brooklyn, NY 11206 and work onsite
- 7Strong customer service orientation with a track record of resolving escalations
- 8Experience with KPI reporting and driving measurable improvements in metrics
- 9Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- 10Vetted understanding of local requirements for multi-site service operations
