Operations Lead Flexdrive Lyft Baltimore
Overview
We seek a bold Operations Lead to lead a team and manage a vehicle fleet at our Baltimore Flexdrive facility. You will drive operational excellence and foster a value-based culture through data analysis. This role differs by focusing on direct fleet oversight and community impact via the Express Drive program.
What You'll Do11
- 1Accountable for market business health and delivering Flexdrive OKRs by analyzing performance gaps and managing fleet operational costs
- 2Lead the team supporting Lyft drivers through the Express Drive rental process ensuring up-to-date training and processes
- 3Foster team growth via regular 1:1 meetings and coaching while reducing out-of-service vehicle time
- 4Drive high utilization metrics by managing vehicle supply lifecycle from in-fleet to decommissioning
- 5Serve as hiring manager and onboarding lead for local site operations
- 6Build vendor relationships to optimize vehicle quality and turnaround time
- 7Act as primary contact for site maintenance security and safety partnering with cross-functional teams
- 8Maintain compliance and provide great workplace experience for staff
- 9Manage 4 years managing retail or vehicle rental teams and 3+ years handling hard asset fleets
- 10Coach and develop team members within the organization
- 11Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to multitask
Requirements10
- 1Passionate about delivering great customer experiences with 4 years managing retail or vehicle rental teams
- 23+ years managing hard assets in fleet management including car rental or FMC businesses
- 3Valid unrestricted driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and insurable coverage under Lyft policy
- 4Experience with vendor management and partner relationship optimization
- 5Strong ability to coach and develop team members
- 6Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 7High attention to detail and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- 8Bold approach to problem solving and data-driven decision making

- 10Ability to work full-time on-site at a Lyft Flexdrive hub in Baltimore MD
