Operations Finance Manager Tree Care

What You'll Do11
- 1Perform all accounting functions including AP/AR, job costing, budgeting, and financial reporting
- 2Manage cash flow forecasting and financial controls
- 3Coordinate with external CPA for tax preparation and compliance
- 4Payroll and HR management for a mixed hourly and salaried workforce
- 5Develop and enforce HR policies and disciplinary systems
- 6Lead change management initiatives with clarity in English and Spanish
- 7Build structure and accountability across office and field teams
- 8Help shape long-term operational and financial strategy
- 9Educate sales staff on Plant Health Care and other services
- 10Ensure collaborative teamwork and workload sharing
- 11Maintain fun yet efficient work culture
Requirements10
- 1Bilingual English and Spanish
- 25+ years management experience in residential service-based business
- 3Strong accounting background with payroll and financial reporting
- 4Human resources experience including performance reviews and compensation analysis
- 5Ability to implement accountability systems and improve performance
- 6Proven organizational skills and decision-making abilities
- 7Experience with EOS or similar methodologies
- 8Degree in accounting finance business or related field
- 9Familiarity with tree care industry and Arborist certification preferred
- 10Knowledge of California labor laws and wage regulations
Salary Insight
$95 - $105k per year
