Arbor Manager Outdoor System Management LLC
Overview
The Arbor Manager oversees all arbor operations ensuring safe efficient on schedule delivery meeting OSM quality standards. This role manages crews maintains equipment develops staff and communicates with clients driving profitable projects while delivering exceptional customer service. It is vital to ensure projects are completed profitably with timely service. This position differs by focusing on comprehensive operational oversight and client relationship management.
What You'll Do14
- 1Develop and implement Operations Management Plans scheduling and supervising all arbor work
- 2Coordinate daily crew assignments and prioritize jobs
- 3Monitor productivity and labor hours to maximize profitability
- 4Conduct job site inspections verifying quality standards
- 5Ensure compliance with ANSI A300 standards and company policies
- 6Supervise arbor crews and crew leaders training employees on pruning techniques safety procedures and equipment operation
- 7Hold daily safety meetings (tailgate meetings) and enforce OSHA policies
- 8Inspect climbing gear ropes chainsaws chippers aerial lifts and other equipment investigate accidents and maintain safe environments
- 9Meet with clients resolving concerns promptly and performing final walkthroughs
- 10Assist with arbor estimates and site evaluations identify work opportunities and communicate enhancements
- 11Maintain fleet ensuring proper inspections reporting repairs and organizing vehicles
- 12Schedule crews based on workload coordinate with branch management track material availability and adjust for weather
- 13Complete daily production reports review timecards maintain inventory and track job costs
- 14Manage labor hours minimize equipment downtime reduce callbacks control expenses and support revenue profit goals
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Valid Driver`s License required for occasional travel and vehicle operation
- 3ISA Certified Arborist credential preferred
- 4High School Diploma or GED
- 5Proven leadership managing arbor maintenance teams
- 6Strong organizational skills multitask and handle multiple jobs efficiently
- 7Excellent communication abilities both written and verbal
- 8Physical stamina standing walking bending kneeling and working outdoors for extended periods
- 9Manual dexterity handling tools up to 50 pounds
- 10Clear vision and hearing for safe equipment operation and clear communication
- 11Ability to climb trees efficiently and safely
