Oncology Nurse Manager leads clinical care at outpatient clinic in Bethesda Maryland. - 1Design and implement clinical protocols for chemotherapy treatments
- 2Oversee DME insurance forms and FMLA applications
- 3Coordinate with purchasing department to maintain supply levels
- 4Train clinical staff on patient care standards and emergency procedures
- 5Maintain compliance with reporting requirements and regulatory standards
- 6Collaborate with research department for patient information sharing
- 7Manage medication preparation and pharmacy cleaning procedures
- 8Ensure accurate documentation of incidents and adverse events
- 9Coordinate scheduling for nursing and support staff
- 10Participate in monthly CNM meetings and collaborate with R-DON
- 11Conduct orientation and performance evaluations for clinical team members
Requirements7
- 1RN license in state of employment or multi-state licensure
- 2Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- 3Oncology Nurse certification OCN required
- 4Current CPR certification
- 5Valid driver's license for travel to satellite offices
- 6Five years healthcare experience preferred
- 7Three years management experience preferred
