Oncology Nurse Educator, Field-Based in Pacific Northwest
Overview
You will own clinical education for oncology therapies across academic and community accounts in the Pacific Northwest, engaging allied healthcare professionals through in-services and 1:1 education. You will partner with sales, marketing, and medical teams to support patient management, dosing, and side effect guidance. This field role requires 50% travel and a BSN or equivalent. You will shape educational strategy, identify clinical gaps, and deliver approved content that improves patient outcomes.
What You'll Do9
- 1Develop a customized education plan for each targeted account based on clinical insights and account dynamics.
- 2Deliver 1:1 presentations and in-services on oncology product preparation, administration, and side effect management.
- 3Educate patient care teams on disease state awareness and appropriate patient identification for approved therapies.
- 4Facilitate round-table discussions and podium presentations at academic and community oncology centers.
- 5Document clinical insights from HCP interactions and share them with cross-functional teams.
- 6Support internal training initiatives to enhance clinical competencies of the sales team.
- 7Provide clinical education at national, regional, and local meetings, including exhibit booth support.
- 8Educate patients and caregivers at advocacy meetings using approved materials.
- 9Collaborate with sales, marketing, and medical teams to align education with strategic goals.
Requirements8
- 13+ years of combined clinical and pharmaceutical experience, with oncology preferred.
- 2Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 3Experience in infusion center settings, including chemotherapy and biologics administration protocols.
- 4Proven ability to interpret clinical and pharmacoeconomic data.
- 5Excellent communication and influencing skills with diverse HCP audiences.
- 6Adaptability to changing market trends and embrace continuous learning.
- 7Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- 8Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 50% including overnight and occasional weekends.
