Medical Oncology NP/PA Seattle
Overview
We seek a skilled Medical Oncology NP/PA to provide outpatient inpatient and infusion center coverage across a long-term permanent search. This is a 4 10-hour shift weekly schedule located in Seattle Washington requiring onsite presence.
What You'll Do11
- 1Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat various medical conditions
- 2Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- 3Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- 4Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions
- 5Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices
- 6Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and APP specialty
- 7Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers for coordinated care
- 8Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- 9Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic EMR
- 10Obtain credentialing within 30-90 days including Washington licensure and board certification
- 11Deliver care independently while working collaboratively within a healthcare team
Requirements10
- 1Active Washington licensure
- 2Board certification as an NP or PA
- 3Minimum 1-year Medical Oncology experience
- 4Master of Science in Nursing or MPAS degree
- 5Active and unencumbered APRN or PA license in Washington
- 6Experience with EPIC EMR systems
- 7Certification from AANP or NCCPA
- 8Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
- 9Valid driver's license for travel if applicable
- 10Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities
Salary Insight
$223 - $260k per year
