What You'll Do11
- 1Work with mechanical equipment supporting combined cycle power plant operations
- 2Perform routine inspections and tests to ensure optimal plant performance
- 3Monitor and maintain data logs including water test results and fuel consumption
- 4Assist in plant shutdown and startup procedures
- 5Operate plant equipment within scope of responsibility
- 6Handle spill prevention containment and hazardous material management
- 7Maintain safe working environment through good housekeeping
- 8Respond to alarms and malfunctions taking corrective actions
- 9Perform Lock Out Tag Out duties per site procedures
- 10Complete maintenance activities as directed
- 11Report conflicts to the Shift Supervisor
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or GED with 2 years power plant or industrial operating experience
- 2Valid driver's license
- 3Ability to work rotating shifts and climb ladders
- 4Willingness to walk/stand 12 hours and lift 50 pounds
- 5Pass drug test and background check
- 6Physical and respiratory evaluations upon hire and annually
- 7Minimum 4 years combined cycle power plant experience
- 8Strong math skills for calculations and interpretation of technical instructions
- 9Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- 10Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
