What You'll Do11
- 1Perform prescribed radiographic examinations following department protocols
- 2Ensure diagnostic image quality while maintaining patient comfort and safety
- 3Prepare patients for imaging by explaining procedures and addressing concerns
- 4Operate radiographic equipment according to established guidelines
- 5Review images for quality before submission for interpretation
- 6Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation
- 7Work in occupational health environment supporting clinicians and nursing staff
- 8Assist with patient assessments and treatment activities
- 9Coordinate patient flow through clinical processes
- 10Manage supply inventory and monitor equipment functionality
- 11Complete all onboarding and orientation activities including simulation training
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or GED with radiology program certificate/diploma
- 2National certification from ARRT and state licensure
- 3BLS certification with current CPR training
- 4Minimum 5+ years experience with radiographic equipment and imaging modalities
- 5Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- 6Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple changing priorities
- 7Proficiency with medical software and EMR systems
- 8Experience with insurance and managed care operations preferred
- 9Commitment to patient-centered care and safety standards
