Nursing Faculty, Med/Surg & Pharmacology at AZ College of Nursing
Overview
Master’s prepared nursing professional leads on-site as Full-Time Faculty at our Phoenix BSN campus. You will own didactic and clinical instruction, curriculum design, and student success initiatives at scale. You will collaborate with a growing team to advance our nursing program and campus culture. This is a hands-on teaching role with opportunities for scholarly and service activities that contribute to student outcomes and program growth.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and deliver didactic and clinical instruction to achieve course objectives
- 2Lead simulation experiences in the Nursing Lab to reinforce theory and practice
- 3Design, implement, evaluate, and revise the curriculum to meet program outcomes
- 4Mentor faculty, adjuncts, and students while pursuing ongoing professional development
- 5Manage student progress and provide timely feedback through formal evaluations
- 6Oversee clinical adjuncts, coordinate with clinical sites, and communicate updates to Course Lead Faculty
- 7Document actions and outcomes for program review and accreditation
- 8Plan and participate in faculty meetings and campus events to support student success
- 9Engage with FERPA requirements and protect student privacy
- 10Contribute to policy development and campus culture via governance and committees
Requirements6
- 1Graduate degree required (Master’s or higher) in nursing or related field with nursing credential
- 2Minimum of three (3) years of direct patient care as a professional RN
- 3Experience teaching in a registered nursing program preferred
- 4Current unencumbered RN license or compact license for teaching location
- 5Eligible or current certification as CPC Card or BCBA or similar is preferred
- 6Strong commitment to teaching excellence and continuous professional development
