What You'll Do8
- 1Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic health conditions in students, using EPIC EHR to document care.
- 2Prescribe medications and therapies, following state regulations and CDC guidelines.
- 3Develop and implement individualized care plans for students with complex needs, coordinating with campus counselors.
- 4Provide health education and preventive screenings, addressing mental health and wellness in outreach programs.
- 5Collaborate with physicians and administrative staff to improve care protocols and patient flow.
- 6Manage follow-up care and referrals, ensuring continuity for students with ongoing conditions.
- 7Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in EPIC.
- 8Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance student health outcomes.
Requirements8
- 1Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- 2Current NP certification in Family or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care.
- 3Active RN license in Georgia or compact state.
- 42+ years of NP experience in primary care or college health.
- 5BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.
- 6Experience with EPIC or similar EHR systems.
- 7Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- 8Ability to work with diverse student populations, including mental health support.
