What You'll Do11
- 1Provide appropriate patient care including recording medical history and physical assessments
- 2Develop therapeutic care plans and order interpret diagnostic tests
- 3Maintain accurate medical records and communicate care plans with patients families and interdisciplinary teams
- 4Coordinate physician involvement for complex issues outside the CRNP knowledge base
- 5Monitor and ensure continuity of care through periodic physician evaluations
- 6Administer prescriptions and medications including controlled substances
- 7Educate patients and families about health preventive measures and treatment instructions
- 8Triaging patient telephone calls and managing outpatient concerns
- 9Implement performance and quality improvement initiatives
- 10Ensure regulatory compliance and complete additional duties as assigned
- 11Perform other tasks specified by the employer
Requirements11
- 1Master's degree MSN from a state board of nursing approved program
- 2National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners
- 3Practicing state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
- 4Prescriptive authority from the practicing state
- 5Drug Enforcement Agency Licensure
- 6CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- 7Criminal background clearance certificate
- 8Act 34 clearance certificate
- 9Child Abuse Clearance Certificate Act 33
- 10FBI fingerprinting and criminal background clearance
- 11Compliance with HIPAA and data security policies
