What You'll Do11
- 1Provide appropriate patient care including medical history and physical assessments
- 2Develop therapeutic care plans and order diagnostic tests
- 3Interpret test results and maintain accurate medical records
- 4Communicate and coordinate care with patients families and interdisciplinary teams
- 5Attend physician meetings regarding care plans and clinical decisions
- 6Monitor and coordinate continuity of care with periodic physician evaluations
- 7Prepare prescription orders and administer medications
- 8Educate patients and families on health prevention and treatment
- 9Triaging patient phone calls and monitor continuity
- 10Implement quality improvement initiatives
- 11Manage outpatient concerns and specialty-specific duties
Requirements10
- 1Master's degree MSN from state board approved program
- 2National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners
- 3Practicing state licensure as Nurse Practitioner
- 4Drug Enforcement Agency Licensure
- 5CPR certification American Heart Association
- 6Background clearance criminal act 34 child abuse certificate act 33 FBI fingerprinting
- 7Four to ten years related experience or equivalent education and experience
- 8Current PA license or PA-C status
- 9Ongoing recertification NCCPA as PA-C
- 10Disclosure of confidential customer information compliance
