Overview
The NPO Outreach Specialist owns the enrollment of nonprofit organizations into the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) program at Fidelity Charitable, supporting over 200,000 nonprofits and $25 billion in grants. The team ensures grants reach charities quickly and securely, collaborating with service delivery groups to drive digital payment adoption. This role blends outbound outreach, data validation, and tier-1 technical support, making a direct impact on the donor-giving ecosystem.
What You'll Do7
- 1Research and validate nonprofit information to ensure accurate and secure grant processing.
- 2Contact charity representatives via cold calls and emails to drive enrollment in the EFT program.
- 3Process enrollments with precision, meeting tight deadlines for timely grant distribution.
- 4Provide tier-1 technical support to charities, resolving issues with Fidelity systems like XTRAC, RepApp, and Genesys.
- 5Collaborate with internal teams to support nonprofits and improve service operations.
- 6Identify and mitigate potential risks in the enrollment and verification process.
- 7Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service environment, balancing outreach and processing tasks.
Requirements8
- 12+ years of experience in customer service or service operations, or equivalent work experience.
- 2Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- 3Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective outreach and support.
- 4Demonstrated attention to detail and follow-through in processing tasks.
- 5Ability to work under pressure and meet overtime commitments as needed.
- 6Technical proficiency with Fidelity systems such as XTRAC, RepApp, and Genesys.
- 7Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate time management skills.
- 8Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
