Overview

Own the standards and architecture for a multi-site enterprise network across floors and outlets. Lead design, deployment, and governance of switches, routers, firewalls, load balancing, wireless, and SDN services at scale. Collaborate with the Network Engineering Manager and cross-functional teams in an agile environment. Help define the future-state network strategy that differentiates Floor & Decor.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Define and maintain enterprise network architecture standards for multi-site sites and data centers
  • 2Design routing and switching topology using OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and static routes to support resilience and performance
  • 3Lead network design documentation and deliverables to satisfy project requirements in an Agile setting
  • 4Troubleshoot complex multi-vendor LAN and WAN issues and guide technical teams to resolution
  • 5Coordinate with stakeholders and program teams to align network initiatives with business goals
  • 6Evaluate and implement SD-WAN solutions and other modern networking technologies
  • 7Oversee security controls including VPN, ACLs, DHCP snooping, Source-Guard, ASA and Palo Alto deployments
  • 8Partner with operators on network performance, QoS, multicast, and load balancing strategies
  • 9Ensure on-site presence three days a week at HQ in Marietta, GA and maintain timely progress reporting
  • 10Mentor junior engineers and drive strategic initiatives that improve network reliability and efficiency

Requirements12

  • 1Ten or more years of hands-on experience configuring and installing enterprise network infrastructure
  • 2CCNP required; CCIE preferred
  • 3Strong knowledge of QoS, IPSec, Multicast, and load balancing techniques
  • 4Experience designing multi-site converged networks with distributed architecture
  • 5Ability to design enterprise routing architectures using OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and static routes
  • 6Proven troubleshooting skills for complex multi-vendor network environments (LAN and WAN)
  • 7Demonstrated history of leading strategic initiatives and guiding technical teams in delivery
  • 8Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Nexus
  • 9Cisco routing and switching and Cisco Meraki experience in retail/office environments preferred
  • 10Familiarity with SD-WAN and related implementations and security technologies (ASA, Umbrella, ISE) preferred
  • 11Experience with F5 and Palo Alto products preferred
  • 12Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders and program teams
