Network Engineer, GCP & Terraform
Overview
You will design and deliver secure, scalable networking for onboarded applications, owning segmentation and hybrid connectivity patterns. You will build and operate VPC and Shared VPC environments, define ingress/egress architecture, and support VPN and Interconnect connectivity. You will partner with application teams to implement network changes safely. This role stands out for its focus on GCP networking and the opportunity to shape Terraform-based infrastructure.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and operate VPC and Shared VPC, subnets, routes, firewall policies, and DNS patterns.
- 2Define ingress and egress architecture, including NAT, load balancing, and private access.
- 3Support hybrid connectivity concepts (VPN and Interconnect), routing, and troubleshooting.
- 4Deliver network changes safely, applying Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- 5Collaborate with application teams to onboard new workloads into the network.
- 6Document network designs and operational runbooks.
- 7Automate repetitive network tasks to reduce manual effort.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in network engineering with a focus on cloud networking.
- 2Hands-on experience with GCP networking services, including VPC, Cloud NAT, and Cloud Load Balancing.
- 3Strong knowledge of Terraform for provisioning and managing network resources.
- 4Experience with hybrid connectivity: VPN, Interconnect, and routing protocols (BGP).
- 5Understanding of network security concepts: firewall rules, segmentation, and zero trust.
- 6Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues across cloud and on-premises.
- 7Familiarity with Python scripting for automation and tooling.
- 8Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
Salary Insight
