
Lead GCP Platform Engineer
Overview
Lead Google Cloud Platform engineering for enterprise-scale infrastructure in Charlotte, NC. You will own the cloud platform architecture, automation, and observability across a multi-tenant environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions on GCP. Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices. What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement GCP infrastructure using Terraform and Cloud Deployment Manager.
- 2Build and maintain Python automation for provisioning and configuration management.
- 3Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
- 4Implement centralized observability solutions across multi-cloud environments.
- 5Optimize cloud costs and performance via Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
- 6Collaborate with security teams to enforce IAM and network policies.
- 7Lead incident response and root cause analysis for cloud infrastructure.
- 8Mentor junior engineers on GCP best practices and automation.
Requirements5
- 15+ years of cloud platform engineering experience.
- 23+ years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience.
- 33+ years of Python development and automation experience.
- 4Experience implementing centralized observability solutions across multi-cloud environments.
- 5Strong proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
