Overview

You will own Tier 1 and Tier 2 network support for users across a corporate environment in the Times Square Tower office, supporting connectivity for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and conference rooms. You will troubleshoot wireless and wired issues, apply EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP knowledge, and support the Network Engineering team with maintenance and projects. You will partner with Client Services to reduce repeat incidents through documentation and root-cause analysis. This onsite role offers a direct path to deeper network engineering work.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 connectivity issues for local and remote users, covering wireless and wired networks for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and conference rooms.
  • 2Partner with Client Services to improve escalation quality and reduce repeat incidents through documentation and root-cause analysis.
  • 3Perform network maintenance, MDF/IDF cleanup, and readiness activities for building or facilities maintenance.
  • 4Install, configure, and validate network assets including Cisco routers, switches, wireless access points, cabling, switch ports, trunks, and VLANs.
  • 5Support implementation and troubleshooting of EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP in the enterprise network.
  • 6Participate in network projects by gathering requirements, assisting with design, testing solutions, and documenting changes.
  • 7Develop and maintain support docs, diagrams, SOPs, VLAN references, MDF/IDF switch documentation, and WAP inventories.
  • 8Manage network support tickets, prioritize critical issues, and escalate to Tier 3 when needed, including C-level support scenarios.
  • 9Provide after-hours or weekend support for maintenance windows and outages.
  • 10Work onsite five days per week for hands-on support and project implementation.

Requirements10

  • 13+ years of network support or network engineering experience in an enterprise environment.
  • 2Cisco Certified Network Associate certification or equivalent practical experience preferred.
  • 3Practical understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
  • 4Comfort using Cisco CLI for configuration, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • 5Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst switching, trunking, VLANs, and access layer troubleshooting.
  • 6Basic understanding of VPN technologies including IPsec and SSL VPN.
  • 7Experience supporting wireless connectivity and access point environments.
  • 8Ability to use ticketing systems such as Ivanti, ServiceNow, or similar.
  • 9Strong problem-solving and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • 10Understanding of Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
