What You'll Do7
- 1Build .NET Core/.NET 8 console applications using C# to automate data extraction and sync.
- 2Integrate with EPA RCRAInfo REST APIs using HttpClient or RestSharp for secure data retrieval.
- 3Implement OAuth2 token authentication and manage token lifecycle for uninterrupted API access.
- 4Parse complex JSON/XML responses and transform them into business objects for internal processing.
- 5Perform SQL Server or Oracle data operations including inserts, updates, and upserts.
- 6Apply Serilog or NLog for robust logging, Polly for retry policies, and comprehensive error handling.
- 7Support scheduled task execution with monitoring and automated alerts to ensure data sync reliability.
Requirements9
- 13–5+ years of experience with C# and .NET Core or .NET 6/8.
- 2Strong experience consuming REST APIs and writing asynchronous code with async/await.
- 3Expertise in JSON serialization using System.Text.Json or Newtonsoft.Json.
- 4Proficiency with SQL Server or Oracle databases and writing complex queries.
- 5Experience with Entity Framework Core or Dapper for data access.
- 6Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Postman for API testing.
- 7Preferred: experience with EPA CDX/RCRAInfo or other federal agency APIs.
- 8Preferred: hands-on experience with Polly and Serilog.
- 9Preferred: experience deploying .NET applications using Docker, Azure WebJobs, or Windows Task Scheduler.
