Nanny / Household Manager for Edina Family, Part-Time with Summer Options
Overview
Own the after-school care and household coordination for a busy, outdoorsy family of five in Edina. You’ll support three pre-teen and teen children, coordinate activities, and manage meals and chores for a semi-flexible schedule.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and coordinate after-school transport to sports, arts, and activities
- 2Oversee homework, monitor school communications, and support academic progress
- 3Plan and prepare four family meals per week and manage household meals on the go
- 4Manage family laundry and maintain tidy common areas
- 5Run errands and handle grocery shopping
- 6Support pre-arrival prep and dog care to optimize daily flow
- 7Adapt schedules as needed to accommodate travel or busy weeks
- 8Communicate proactively with parents to align on priorities
- 9Create an organized routine that balances independence and supervision
Requirements9
- 1Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- 2Reliable personal vehicle and proof of auto insurance
- 3Experience in nannying, childcare, or household management with pre-teens/teens
- 4Energetic, adaptable, proactive and outdoorsy disposition
- 5Ability to work 1:00 PM–7:00 PM, with flexibility for earlier starts or later finishes
- 6Willingness to work part-time ~20 hours/week with potential for summer full-time (~45 hours/week)
- 7Comfort with a busy family schedule and dynamic changes
- 8Strong communication skills and empathy for pre-teen and teen transitions
