Overview
Own daily childcare for a Westside family's children, supporting routines from morning to bedtime. You'll prepare meals, drive to activities, and keep a safe, engaging environment. Report to parents and coordinate with a small household team. This role offers flexible live-in or live-out options and a strong $45/hr rate.
What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare balanced meals and snacks, accommodating dietary needs and preferences.
- 2Drive children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities, ensuring punctual arrival.
- 3Organize age-appropriate learning and play activities that foster development and creativity.
- 4Establish and maintain daily routines for meals, naps, homework, and bedtime.
- 5Maintain a clean and tidy play area, including child laundry and light household tasks.
- 6Communicate daily updates with parents, sharing milestones, concerns, and activity summaries.
- 7Ensure a safe environment at all times, monitoring for hazards and child well-being.
- 8Build a positive, trusting relationship with children, setting clear and consistent boundaries.
Requirements7
- 13+ years professional nanny or childcare experience, with references.
- 2CPR and First Aid certification, current and valid.
- 3Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with reliable transportation.
- 4Ability to pass a background check and provide trusted references.
- 5Flexibility to work a set schedule, including evenings or weekends as needed.
- 6Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent; early childhood education a plus.
