Overview

Baylor Scott & White Health seeks a skilled Multimodality Technologist to lead CT and Xray operations on nights. This role focuses on high-quality imaging across multiple modalities while ensuring patient safety and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Perform high quality multimodality procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner
  • 2Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures
  • 3Demonstrate understanding of radiation dose reference levels and actions when exceeding thresholds
  • 4Utilize iSTAT point of care testing for obtaining creatinine levels when applicable
  • 5Use AIDET to communicate with patients and establish rapport
  • 6Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding tests and assess tolerance
  • 7Prepare patient and area for procedures using appropriate settings and positioning
  • 8Protect patients and staff by adhering to safety and infection control policies
  • 9Maintain equipment and work area to meet quality standards
  • 10Work with engineers and physicists to optimize equipment performance
  • 11Report issues to management and assist with supply inventory management

Requirements10

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 23-5 seasons experience with CT and Xray modalities
  • 35+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 43-5 seasons experience with CT and Xray modalities
  • 5NMTB-CT certification
  • 6Radiation Safety (NMTB-RS) certification
  • 7Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
  • 8Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) license from Texas Medical Board
  • 9American Reg MRI Tech (ARMRIT) or equivalent nuclear medicine certification
  • 10ARRT-CI or ARRT-CV certification
