Overview

The Multifamily Assistant Superintendent will own delivery of multifamily communities on schedule and with quality while upholding safety and compliance standards. This role supports project activities to meet schedule quality and budget objectives. It involves communicating project needs timely to management field teams and subcontractors. The ideal candidate works overtime and demonstrates strong work ethic.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Assist in managing project activities to meet schedule quality and budget objectives
  • 2Communicate project needs on a timely basis to management field team and subcontractors
  • 3Monitor project safety and enforce company safety policies
  • 4Prepare for and participate in subcontractor meetings
  • 5Monitor site conditions and maintain compliance with environmental policy
  • 6Plan and track project activity for assigned areas
  • 7Interact with local building officials regarding inspections and approvals
  • 8Inspect project by walking site daily as directed to ensure progress cleanliness
  • 9Create and distribute punch lists and ensure timely completion of work
  • 10Maintain jobsite and keep construction trailer neat and organized
  • 11Participate in reporting such as daily logs weekly safety inspections delivery sign in sheets RFI requests and change orders

Requirements5

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2Minimum one year experience in construction
  • 3Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to fifty pounds
  • 4Regular exposure to outside weather conditions moving mechanical parts high precarious places and risk of electrical shock
  • 5Strong work ethic with ability to multitask and work independently within a team
