Multi-Cloud Engineer SME (Azure/Endpoint Management)
Overview
You will architect and implement secure hybrid cloud solutions for DoD programs at Fort Belvoir, VA, blending Microsoft Azure and AWS. You will design greenfield environments, integrate on-premises infrastructure with cloud, and spearhead endpoint management using Microsoft Intune and Defender for Endpoint. What You'll Do7
- 1Architect and implement secure hybrid cloud solutions on Azure and AWS for DoD missions.
- 2Design and deploy greenfield cloud environments using Terraform, Azure Bicep, or CloudFormation.
- 3Administer Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Azure Virtual Desktop for enterprise endpoint security.
- 4Engineer network integration between on-premises infrastructure and cloud using Azure and AWS.
- 5Automate deployments with PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI to reduce manual effort.
- 6Support RMF accreditation and ensure compliance with DoD security policies.
- 7Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on cloud adoption.
Requirements9
- 112+ years in technical roles with a Bachelor's in CS or related field.
- 2Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- 3DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification like Security+ or CySA+.
- 4Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- 55+ years architecting enterprise cloud solutions on Azure and AWS.
- 6Hands-on Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and AVD administration.
- 7Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
- 8Scripting proficiency in PowerShell or Python.
- 9Strong grasp of Zero Trust architecture and NIST frameworks.
