Montessori Assistant Teacher, Afternoon Shift
Overview
You will support a mixed-age Montessori classroom for children ages 0-6, helping create a calm, engaging environment where each child builds independence and confidence. You will work alongside Lead Guides and fellow teachers, preparing intentional learning spaces and guiding individual and small-group activities. This part-time role runs 3:00pm–6:00pm, Monday through Friday, ideal for parents, students, or anyone seeking meaningful work that fits around other commitments. You will receive fully sponsored Montessori diploma training through the Prepared Montessorian Institute, plus ongoing mentorship and professional development. What You'll Do7
- 1Welcome children and families warmly during afternoon arrival, easing the transition into activities
- 2Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs and developmental progress
