Mobile Service Technician - Houston
Overview
Lucid Motors provides a unique opportunity to own vehicle service in the Greater Houston Area. This role drives customer satisfaction while supporting Lucid's mission to redefine mobility through innovative electric vehicles. You will deliver field service repairs and represent the brand with professionalism and expertise.
What You'll Do11
- 1Function as a Service Advisor and perform parts department duties including ordering returns and managing inventory
- 2Work directly with clients to ensure a high level of customer experience
- 3Use appropriate software to document all vehicle interactions thoroughly
- 4Perform walk-around assessments and write-ups to identify primary concerns via verbal interviews and visual analysis
- 5Accurately document client issues for diagnosis and repair following Three C's procedures
- 6Invoice and collect payments while handling customer service tasks like phone answering and appointment scheduling
- 7Review appointment schedules to plan travel time and optimize service visits
- 8Provide support at the Service Center based on demand and travel assigned territories
- 9Maintain knowledge of High Voltage Low Voltage and EV power train systems
- 10Travel within assigned territory and other service locations as needed
- 11Complete required CPR training and hold a valid driver’s license
Requirements12
- 12-5 years of automotive service technician experience
- 2Self-sufficient and organized professional background
- 3Knowledge of High Voltage Low Voltage and EV power train systems
- 4Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills
- 5Proficiency in Microsoft Office and proprietary DMS software
- 6EPA 609 Certification
- 7Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year
- 8Driver’s license maintained for at least 3 years for those under 21
- 9ASE Certifications (A4 A5 A6 A7 A8 L3 L4 ADAS)
- 10Previous Mobile Service Technician experience
- 11Prior EV diagnosis and repair experience
- 12Luxury automobile repair environment experience preferred
