We seek an experienced MEP Engineer/Designer for a full-time remote position. The role involves leading mechanical electrical plumbing design and engineering while collaborating across project teams. What You'll Do9
- 1Lead development of comprehensive mechanical electrical plumbing designs
- 2Create detailed technical drawings and as-built documentation
- 3Conduct site visits and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders
- 4Ensure compliance with local building codes and industry regulations
- 5Prepare submittals and respond to RFIs and construction documents
- 6Perform field assessments and as-builds for existing systems
- 7Drive design improvements through peer reviews and quality assurance processes
- 8Collaborate with architectural structural and civil teams on integrated solutions
- 9Set up CAD references and establish project documentation standards
Requirements7
- 15+ years designing mechanical electrical plumbing systems in commercial residential or industrial settings
- 2AutoCAD and Revit proficiency with advanced modeling techniques
- 3M.S. office software expertise for documentation and analysis
- 4Knowledge of fire alarm and sprinkler systems preferred
- 5Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities with attention to detail
- 6Experience with Design Master Software and construction documentation practices
- 7Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior staff
