What You'll Do9

- 2Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using Electronic Health Records coordinating with clinical staff
- 3Verify insurance coverage through prior authorization processes and confirm benefits with managed care providers
- 4Ensure HIPAA compliance by maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information and medical records
- 5Collect and update patient demographics insurance details and medical history accurately in the EHR system
- 6Assist patients with understanding health insurance policies copayments deductibles and billing procedures
- 7Perform medical coding tasks including CPT ICD-9 ICD-10 and ICD coding to support billing processes
- 8Facilitate communication between patients providers and insurance companies to resolve coverage issues or claim denials
- 9Maintain organized medical records according to confidentiality policies and document all interactions properly
Requirements8
- 1Experience in medical office or healthcare settings required
- 2Familiarity with medical terminology essential
- 3Proven proficiency in insurance verification prior authorization procedures and health insurance policy knowledge
