Medical Assistant, OB/GYN in Buckhead GA
Overview
Medical Assistant role supporting an OB/GYN practice in Buckhead at scale with physicians and care teams. You will assist clinical procedures, handle triage, and manage administrative tasks in a patient-centered environment. What You'll Do10
- 1Build patient intake and medical history documentation to support accurate diagnoses
- 2Triage patient calls to determine urgency and next steps for care
- 3Assist physicians with in-office procedures and patient care
- 4Perform Non Stress Tests NSTs and document outcomes
- 5Provide clear and courteous communication with patients, families, and providers
- 6Obtain prior authorizations for medications and procedures
- 7Complete administrative tasks including FMLA paperwork and medication requests
- 8Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance and documentation
- 9Support Epic EHR data entry and charting with accuracy
- 10Collaborate with care team to ensure timely patient flow and follow-up
Requirements6
- 1Minimum 1 year of experience in women’s health
- 2Current Medical Assistant certification required
- 3Experience with Epic preferred
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- 5Strong organizational and time management skills
- 6Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional demeanor
