Medical Assistant, Dermatology & Patient Care
Overview
Own patient intake and support for dermatology procedures at a fast paced clinic in Phoenix. You will assist providers, manage records, educate patients, and help ensure smooth clinic operations across the day. This role combines patient interaction, procedure support, and accurate documentation.
What You'll Do10
- 1Greet and prepare patients for examinations
- 2Assist the provider during dermatology procedures and examinations
- 3Perform routine skin assessments and support dermatological treatments
- 4Sterilize and maintain medical equipment
- 5Schedule patient appointments and follow up visits
- 6Process lab results and communicate with patients
- 7Handle patient billing and insurance verifications as needed
- 8Maintain HIPAA and infection control standards
- 9Provide patient education on skin conditions and care
- 10Support minor surgical procedures when needed
Requirements5
- 1Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related healthcare role is required
- 2Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology and medical terminology
- 3Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient interaction and education
- 4Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- 5Commitment to compassionate patient care in a fast paced environment
