Med Tech, Senior Care & Memory Care Support
Overview
Provide personal care and assistance to residents under licensed nursing supervision in a memory care community. Support daily living activities, medication administration under supervision, and engagement in activity programs while maintaining safety and dignity. Work onsite in Peoria, AZ with shift options and an opportunity to earn bonuses and benefits.
What You'll Do10
- 1Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and incontinence care
- 2Prepare, assist with, and document medication administration under licensed nurse supervision
- 3Prepare residents for meals and assist in dining room
- 4Maintain accurate care records and ensure safety and infection control compliance
- 5Communicate with LPN and incoming shift to ensure follow through of duties and report unsafe conditions
- 6Participate in activity programs seven days per week
- 7Attend required in service training and uphold resident rights
- 8Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas
- 9Adhere to all state laws and Desert Winds policies
- 10Other duties as assigned
Requirements9
- 1Must have completed a Department approved caregiver training program or DHS approved competency
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 3State certification as a licensed certified caregiver
- 4Three months full time or equivalent experience in senior care
- 5Finger print clearance card and CPR First Aid certifications
- 6Background check clearance
- 7Ability to commute to Peoria AZ 85382
- 8Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families
- 9Must pass fingerprint and background checks
