Overview
Lead complex mechanical fabrication and installation projects from kickoff through completion. This role manages industrial construction projects exceeding $200m ensuring safe on-time on-budget delivery while coordinating engineering production procurement quality logistics field teams and customers.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage mechanical fabrication and installation projects from kickoff through final completion
- 2Build and maintain project schedules milestones budgets and deliverables
- 3Coordinate closely with engineering production procurement quality logistics field teams and customers
- 4Oversee modular mechanical systems prefabricated assemblies and skid-mounted equipment from fabrication through transport and installation
- 5Support constructability reviews and modularization strategies during project planning
- 6Coordinate mechanical systems with electrical and plumbing components to ensure successful MEP integration
- 7Review drawings and specifications to identify issues before they become field problems
- 8Track labor materials subcontractor costs project risks and change orders
- 9Serve as primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders
- 10Ensure projects meet safety quality schedule and budget expectations
- 11Manage multiple projects and keep cross-functional teams aligned
Requirements8
- 15–10 years of experience in mechanical fabrication industrial construction modular construction or project management
- 2Strong understanding of mechanical fabrication and industrial construction processes
- 3Experience with modular fabrication prefabricated assemblies skid-mounted systems or modular equipment packages preferred
- 4Working knowledge of MEP systems and trade coordination
- 5Ability to read and interpret mechanical electrical and plumbing drawings specifications
- 6Strong scheduling budget management communication and problem-solving skills
- 7Ability to manage multiple projects and keep cross-functional teams aligned
- 8Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Construction Management or related field preferred
Salary Insight
$130 - $150k per year
