Overview
Lead electro-mechanical assembly of machines and sub-assemblies at our San Jose facility. This role owns precision assembly while collaborating across a diverse team. You will ensure quality through blueprint interpretation and hands-on adjustments. This position offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. What You'll Do10
- 1Perform electro-mechanical assembly on machines and sub-assemblies
- 2Adjust and fit parts to moderately close tolerances
- 3Verify material correctness before starting work
- 4Follow engineering drawings to complete assemblies
- 5Make fitting decisions within established guidelines
- 6Ensure quality control of assembled components
- 7Become proficient in assembling multiple machine models
- 8Learn final alignment and machine run-off procedures
- 9Recommend process improvements to engineering
- 10Assist in training new assembly team members
Requirements10
- 15+ years building mechanical systems
- 2Spark and Airflow experience
- 3CPC Card certification preferred
- 4AWS Certified cloud knowledge optional
- 55+ years experience with hand tools
- 63-5 seasons in production environments
- 7Strong English communication skills
- 8Attention to detail and time management abilities
- 9Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- 10Comfortable working with moving parts and electrical components
