Overview

Own on site diesel truck and fire truck diagnostics and repairs at scale in Seattle. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair engine, electrical, brake, and hydraulic systems while maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with a team to troubleshoot and implement durable repair solutions. This role offers growth through EVT certifications and hands on training while working with a fleet of emergency vehicles.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Build inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel trucks and fire trucks, including engine, electrical, brakes, and hydraulics
  • 2Perform routine maintenance such as fluid changes, filter replacements, and component inspections using diagnostic equipment
  • 3Carry out repairs and replacements of damaged parts following manufacturer specifications and industry standards
  • 4Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective repair solutions using hand tools and power tools
  • 5Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory in a central system
  • 6Adhere to safety protocols and regulations creating a safe working environment
  • 7Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures
  • 8Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation
  • 9Perform other duties as required

Requirements10

  • 15+ years building or repairing diesel engines with ASE or EVT certifications preferred
  • 2Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills with proficiency in using diagnostic equipment
  • 3Knowledge of diesel engine systems hydraulics electrical systems and brake systems
  • 4Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • 5Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • 6Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • 7Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • 8Must provide own hand tools and toolbox
  • 9CDL Class B with Air Brakes endorsement
  • 10Light electrical experience and experience with truck and heavy equipment repair diagnosis chassis and welding
